These are some of the key things that inspired us to found ecochair.ch, our webshop and information platform for vintage, second-hand design and upcycled furniture. We have a vision of helping people find great furniture, in a way that contributes to a vibrant local community, and is good for the planet too.
We need your help to achieve this vision.

You can pick your favourite postcard from the collection (as long as supplies last - there are a limited number of each).

This handy re-usable cotton tote bag has been silk-screened with the ecochair logo using water-based ink. The print was generously designed by one of our volunteers, and was hand-printed by the ecochair team.
By becoming an annual member, you'll be invited to special events, and be given opportunities to participate in the development of ecochair.
And if you would rather be a passive member, and simply support our work through your annual membership fee, that's totally fine as well.

In this 1.5 hour session, you'll receive a basic introduction to upholstery. You'll get to see inside both a modern and an antique chair, and learn about the materials and tools used. You'll also get to try out an air compression staple gun, and learn how to re-cover a drop-in seat. The time and date for the session is selected by you, subject to the availability of the ecochair team.
You may bring a second person to this session at no extra cost.
